My son aquired a Model 10A through an estate, and I have managed to break it. It being a take down model, I did that with no problems. My problem came when I pumped it. OK...so I didn't have it put together exactly right evidently. Anyway a flat type spring (spring steel about 1/4 to 5/16" wide...2 or 3 inches long) broke and came out the bottom eject. I have found some gun business's that sell some parts for these old guns....but I really have no idea what this spring is called. I have found a schmadic on a Model 10....but can't find this spring on it. Any help would be appreciated. A fellow named J.R. that does gunsmithing/repairs for Shooters Depot can fix it....if i find the part. Thanks
