Nice response Earpie, but where's the revenue? I despise them every bit as much as you, but they're not gonna let ME go on a hunt for them.

all the LEO Agencies gotta do is ask for volunteers, temporarily swear 'em in (just like they did back in the days of Tombstone and Dodge City) for a restricted time for a co-op as temp LEO's for this one mission only, codename it Operation Take It Back, volunteers provide their own guns and ammo and they get a chance to serve their city/state and help clean up the streets. I'll gladly be the first one in line to sign my name and put my life on the line and go on a free for all duck shoot. don't give 'em any warning, no heads up. take out as many gang members as you can by any means necessary. and there is no neutral side, you're either on LEO side, or you're on the gang side, if someone gets in the way and doesn't cooperate with LEO's, they get considered as a gang member. You get the press to cover it live and you broadcast it across the nation and you turn the tables on them and put them in fear for a change.

Wyatt, the scary reality of what your pushing for is that somewhere in a room surrounded by his homies, some gang banger is wanting to do the same thing to you and your friends. They think they are entitled to take whatever they want from those who have more than they did. They have bought into the class warfare BS hook, line and sinker. They are just as deeply entrenched in their beliefs as you are in yours. If you don't believe it, just check the jails, prisons and cemeteries. The other problem is, they are sort of like some of our other enemies these days and they don't all wear a uniform or in this case a bandana with the word, Crips, Bloods, Insane Clown Posse, Latin Kings, etc. on the front. Most of these gangs are now as well formed and organized as the Mafia ever was, and probably twice as ruthless. This has become a real culture war, and it's just getting started.

Some people bad mouth the cops every chance they get claiming that they are violating people rights. Then they suggest just that for fixing the gang problem.

The cops don’t need help or triggermen to fix the problem. They also don’t need to violate the Constitution to take out the gang bangers. Our founding fathers never meant for the Constitution to be twisted the way it has been to protect criminals.

We have two problems the people and the courts. We wouldn’t have problems dealing with the gangs if it wasn’t for Judges trying to make a name for themselves in court rulings, and would rule the way our founding fathers would have wanted.

The people. I took part in a thread here where a Judge let an 8 time DUI offender walk because an Officer turned on her overheads as she approached his vehicle in a parking lot. It was a ridiculous decision but some seem to think that anything that ties the hands of the Police or will allow them out of a situation they may find themselves in is okay.

It’s pretty easy to say you are willing to take on gang bangers face to face when you know it won’t happen. Want to do that? Then go see if you have what it takes to become a cop.

Untie the hands of the Police.

if i knew that there would be hundreds or thousands of other volunteers to join me, i would easily do it, but I'm not suicidal to undertake the task alone or with only 30 or 40 people.

Agreed. Untie their hands. You could also let them off traffic duty enough to maybe chase some criminals.

Update:

Police: Shooting Victims Uninterested In Finding Gunmen - NewsChannel5.com | Nashville News, Weather & Sports

Investigators said neither victim was interested in helping police find the people who shot them.

probably because they know what will happen to them and their families if they say anything about who it was.
