Sounds like some of our good citizens from Memphis took a trip to Nashville for the weekend. Been sorta quiet around here....our biggest story is whether or not the schools should furnish dinner ( in addition to the breakfast and lunch they already get) for the children before we put them on the bus and send them home. I think we should just let them stay at school and put up bars to keep all the bad folks out, and feed them the three meals a day,....wait, we already do that for most of their relatives now, but we call it jail. hmph....

The area probably has a higher percentage of street thugs than anywhere else in Nashville.

A huge percentage of that community lives on the victim side of the equation.

Oh HELL no. It's just way more complex than skin color. Here's some more math... I saw four sets of blue lights on a fairly short stretch of Murfreesboro road a few days ago. Great place to get revenue. The ghetto... not so much.

THIS! Send in SWAT teams to these areas, with orders to shoot anyone seen flashing a gang sign, wearing gang clothes/colors, seen brandishing/firing/pointing a weapon, and wipe 'em all out. Nationwide effort all at once, coop by Feds/State/City/County LEO's. you're seen in a gang, you die, you flash a sign you die, you wear colors and have gang tat's you die, you have a weapon in your hand you die.

the only alternative should be to surrender immediately, by tieing a white bandana around your neck and putting both hands up in the air and turning yourself into authorities.

quit screwing around with these animals and allowing them to control people, and put them in fear, and killing innocent bystanders and kids in drive bys. to hell with their civil rights, to hell with their legal rights, they didn't give any rights to the people they hurt, killed, injured, shot, and the lives they've affected, they don't deserve anything more than a piece of lead in the head, and cremation.

I blame the parents for not being involved in their kids lives and allowing them to be in gangs and do crap like this, and the parents deserve to go to jail.

My kid ever joins a gang, I'll turn him in myself (and my father would have done the same thing to me) to the authorities.

it's attitude, thought process, culture, reactive society/parents as opposed to proactive society/parents (meaning people wait till there's a problem before they try to do something about it, rather than recognizing the warning signs and heading them off at the pass), and it's the liberals and all their civil/legal rights and bleeding heart excuses, bull**** that has allowed gang problems to spiral out of control.

these gangbangers will glady take someone's life and not think twice about it, but the minute a gang member is shot by police, it's all of a sudden police brutality, and his rights were violated, and he's just a good kid who made some bad decisions, and every excuse that someone can come up with for their behavior other than the obvious fact, that they're just a cold-blooded, heartless criminal who doesn't have any regard for authority, human life, people's rights to be free from opression and tyranny and not by just the government, but by their public as well.

gangs and gangbangers are a serious threat to public safety and an individuals right to the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness, exterminate 'em all. white, black, latino, asian, whatever color they are, kill 'em all and to hell with their damn rights. they gave up their rights when they broke the law.
