They could have just said "no" in a cordial way. F*** these clowns. This should be a thread with the title of the store filed under "Don't do business with these a**clowns".

Yep. This is an extreme case of "gun store attitude". I refuse to deal with people like that. Too many good shops out there.

Dang thats horrible, I hear all the time about people having bad experiences with gun shops, I haven't had one yet. I've emailed a few places always got good responses back never gave me a hard time in the shop. I've heard people that live in my area tell me that they've had horrible experiences at the gun shops I went to however I haven't yet, there's even a nice lookin girl that works in one of them. Maybe she wouldn't givem the time of day or something I don't know.

But I laughed at that email since it wasn't directed at me but if I got that response back id be pretty pissed.

I would be curious to see the shop owner’s comments on this. I wonder if he did it or it was an employee?

They seem to have a pretty bad rep but I also would curious if he knew. I this is pretty extreme :poop:ty

Wow! Just wow! It's hard to imagine anyone with even enough sense to turn on a light switch would write a response like that. That should be included in the "How to Kill a Business 101" book.

Well, they're apparently not smart enough to realize that it would get 380 views (so far) on TGO.

Started out looking at 338 Lapuas but because I actually shoot a lot it would be cheaper to get something in 50 BMG. If I do get a 50 it will be bolt action and magazine fed. I got to looking at prices of ammo the other day and found surplus 50 for 1.60 a round. May not be the most accurate stuff but it would be accurate enough.

If you get one where do you plan on shooting it?

Well that puts a damper on my enthusiasm. I won't buy a gun I can't shoot.

Well, there's always Norris, but I guess 200 yards with a .50BMG is sorta like shooting a .22 at 10. Although any number of folks do that out there. Done it myself, and found it exciting each time! :D

There's always the .338 :D. 300 gr Matchkings are less than a buck apiece. Anything with that much lead is gonna be spendy.

At least it won't bounce back and hit you in the noggin :D

TO be fair, it didn't hit him in the noggin, it got him in the earpro!

By bad, thought you were talking about the clip with the guy shooting a .50 at distance and it came back and took his earpro off.

I haven't seen that. That's downright dangerous.

Well I can honestly say that I have been in Precision Firearms over a hundred times and have always gotton great customer service. They have went above and beyond to order four guns for me in the last 6 months. Even getting me sequential serial numbers on a set of limited edition nra pistols. I figure if someone can't figure out how one of the largest gun distributors can be cheaper than a locally owned and operated store.....well ya deserved the answer ya got. I personally enjoy a business owner that won't kiss my ass and tells me his honest opinion.
