Bulk Grains in Clarksville Area?

anyone know if any local CO-OPs or anywhere else sell bulk food grains at decent prices? ive looked at ordering from the LDS cannery in the Nashville area but was wondering if there wasnt a local source that i would prefer to support? any farmmers sell it in bulk?

looking for wheat or corn mostly. maybe some beans or others as well? ive been buying rice an dbeans and flour at Sams Club so far.

I'm sure they do - our local Co-op does - but a few minutes on the phone would probably be the easiest way to find out.

There is a place in New Providence that used to sell bulk corn, but probably not food grade. Usually these bulk grains are for animal feed.

You might want to check with the Hopkinsville Elevator. They purchase bulk grain, but I don't know if they sell quantities to the public.

It takes a very small plot to grow your own if all you are after is the seed.

First year you can probably scavenge it is after that, that it becomes an issue.

Bulk whole grains, wheat berries, flour and such

This is kind of a co-op that has different buys that are mostly seasonal. They have a bunch of drop off locations that you can search when a buy is open.

Bad thing is that the grain buy just ended (it looks like they have them fall and spring). The good thing was that it was all as expected.
