Anyone familair with the Maple Creek lane area of East Ridge? I'm asking in relation to safety, crime, etc. Someone I know is looking for an apartment and found one in that area. Thanks

That is only about a mile from where I live now. If that. The thing is that's a tough mile. The other side of 24 has some real hit or miss areas over there. I would look around a little more.

the main problem of east ridge is the schools. if you got school age kids i would look in the ooltewah/apison area. at one time, many mango seasons ago this was a nice area. now it is hit and miss. too close to east lake and downtown.

Dont move to East Ridge. This city isnt what it used to be.

Chattanooga period isn't what it used to be. Period. I would look in the Ootlewah/Apison area like others mentioned. Sure its a little further of a drive to downtown and such, but way better than ER, EB, B, Downtown, RB.

Hixson is nice and Soddy is growing pretty fast so potential for money to be made in real estate is there.
