Mosin Nagant 91/30 trigger problem

Hello,

I just refinished a "new" Mosin Nagant 91/30 hex. when putting all the parts (de-cosmolined) back in the stock, it all fit well (which is good, since it came out ).

The only issue is when I tighten the rear screw holding the magazine and trigger well onto the chamber, the trigger rubs on the side of the trigger guard. This means the trigger doesn't pull itself forward after the bolt releases, and so the next time I pull the bolt back, it slides right out (as in the dissassembly process).

If I loosen the screw a couple of threads it works.

I took everything back apart to see if maybe i had any big globs of polyeurethane causing the mis-alignment, and didnt see much. Ayone had a similar issue? Any ideas?

Once I get the trigger situation worked out, I'll get her back together and post a pic or two :D

Thanks!

It's working better now, but not really like it should be (i.e trigger centered in the slot).

I guess I'll take it out for zeroing and see how it works. My fear is if the oil on it dries up or it gets dirty, it'll rub too much and act up again.

Anyway, here are some photos. ......ok maybe not. How can I upload photos from my PC without having them on the web?

Thanks!
