Need advice with service six

I just picked up a Ruger Security Six 4" barrell and am interested in getting an IWB holster for it. I've never carried anything this big IWB before so any advice is appreciated. I don't have a clue where to begin for a holster but I didn't see either kholster or crossbreed selling one.

Not sure which, but I think Smith K or N frame holsters will fit it. I had a thread about the Security Six a few months ago when I started shooting mine at IDPA. I_Like_Pie was very helpful in that thread. Maybe he'll be along to weigh in on this one.

awesome revolver....i know they make some good shoulder holsters...check out don hume and galco for an IWB for that one...thats a pretty big gun for IWB...i just checked comptac and they got nothing for it.

Yeah it is def a larger gun than my PF9 haha. I have been wanting something bigger and this fits the bill. I am carrying it today and the weight and conceal-ability is not a problem but rather the cheap nylon holster is allowing cylinder to rub me. I just order this holster from theholsterstore.com. Don Hume has an identical one but they were back ordered for 4 months. These guys said I would have it by next Friday. It's not exactly what I was looking for but it will definitely be more comfortable and get me by until I can spend the dough on a nicer one. thanks!
