its been so long since she was murdered, anyone recall the actual cause of death?

As for her parents knowing the story I am guessing they know. break in of apartment, daughter killed defending herself with a less than ideal instrument of defense. Overpowered by two strong young men and killed as they attempted to cover up their heinous actions.

Even if this particular scumbag did not deal the death blow he is just as guilty as whoever did.

I guess I should've worded my statement a little differently. What I was trying to say is that her parents may never know if he was, in fact, the killer or even if he acted alone in the killing.

Some years ago a travel reviewer wrote that standing atop the hotel Andrew Johnson, one can look out upon what is one of the ugliest cities in the world. He repeated the comment just before the 1982 World's Fair.

That comment stuck with me because it seems so true. But in this case, ugly is not just skin deep, but goes all the way to the bone. There is little redeeming about the city - except that at least it isn't Memphis.

I live outside Memphis and couldn't agree more

I didn't realize she lived in the apartments behind Cedar Bluff Post Offic. I get to deliver the mail up there every now and then. You're right, they look nice on the outside. We almost rented ther when we first got to town. Decided real quick I'd rather commute an hour each way than live in the big city.

Down the street a little ways in either direction of your apartment is a whole nother story though. Take a ride down Cedar Park or Park Top behind you. I recommend this be done in daylight!
