Gun Show In the 'Boro this weekend Nov. 12 & 13

I go to all of the boro shows and for me they are generally pretty good. They were deficient on reloading supplies this time. Found some tannerite which I plan to dispose of today. Prices were all over the board but some were great. I bought a pf9 for $249. The cheapest I have seen that is 229 online but I would have paid shipping + transfer fees online. So, overall I was very happy. Outpost had my reloading supplies, so i'm a happy camper.

I went today. Thought it was a pretty decent show this time, although I didn't really do anything. Met a bunch of TGOers, thats what I get for posting an urban camoed AR, then carrying it around a show!

I seen you there! did you ever sell it? Also saw several old war horses, one even followed me home. IMO a pretty good show.

Nope, still got it. Probably go back today being as I don't really have anything else going on, and the stamp is good for both days.

My Son and I headed down today. I'll be the old bald dude wearing a U of South Carolina windbreaker.

Taking a S&W 637 38+p snub nose to trade or sell.

We went today and stayed till closing. I saw some good deals and bought a few items. One guy was selling Walther PPS's in 9 or .40 for 499.00. New Glocks in the 489.00 range. Saw quite a few unique pieces. All in all a good day with my son.

Lol, got lowball like crazy on the S&W I carried to sell. A lot on nice dealers today and had some great conversations.

Wish I was at the Tulsa show with you. I have always wanted to go there but it's just to far. I will just have to settle for the for the Murfreesboro show. I will be there for a while Saturday mourning. Don[/QUOT

For you members in the Nashville area, there is a larger show closer to you than Tulsa. Two different groups sponsor shows at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Center in downtown Birmingham, Al. It's about 3 hours, 190 miles from Nashville fairgrounds. The times I have been there, it ranged from 875 to 1100 tables(depending on time of year), and has been a very good show. No where as big as Tulsa, but a heck of a lot closer. By the way, I think Tulsa advertises the November show as about 4400 tables.

I also would like to make the Tulsa show, just one time.

the program says 6022 paid tables with 1977 vendors i brought home several copies i am sure there are bigger better shows but i dont know where . the agca is a very good show held 2 thime a yearin birmingham.the triuble with shows in middle tn is there are too many why go to one this week if there is one next week as well i think when nashville builds the nashville center that will be a great place foir a large gunshow if the city will let them by the way i sold more reloading stuff in 3 days at tulsa than all year in middle tn it is a very good show everybody into shooting should go at least one time

I've never found much in the way of reloading supplies at a gun show. Just the basics, some powder,

primers, bullets. Not a big selection of that.

Best bet is the Reloaders Bench in Mt. Juliet, if you're close.

Thanks for the first-hand info. Sounds like a gun nuts delight. I hope to make it to Tulsa soon.
