Odd Truck

Today while leaving a local restaurant I noticed a large armored truck. It was a a F750 styled truck with 4 doors and a ambulance like back. The truck had government plates on it. I noticed that it circled a couple of restaurant parking lots. Maybe that was to see if someone was following them? Just thought it was strange. Any thoughts?

Probably Homeland Security. Was it a dark, solid color?

Maybe they were trying to find a parking space to get lunch. :(

Yeah it was.

I've actually seen a couple of those a couple times.

Saw a caravan of 2-3 heading south on I65 a couple months back right near the Kentucky Border. I also saw 1 turning right on Rivergate parkway from Long Hollow Pike about 2 weeks ago.

Thought they were so badass, I checked pricing === Ouch is all I could think.

Ha I tried. It was dark and we were both moving. It didn't turn out very well.

The ones I saw looked similar to this but matte black and raised (maybe not raised, just larger tires?) i didn't notice if they were gov plates though ... This ones seems a bit lower to the ground than I remember. Then again, it could just be the pic.

It's about 4.5 hours away. So maybe?

It looked a lot like the pic xRUSTYx posted but the back looked more like this.

I'm wondering if DHS is rolling out their back-scatter x-ray vehicles. I learned about them when I worked for TSA. BrasilNuts' picture looks just like the concept images in the manuals, dead on.

Yes! What is that?

It's a truck cab and chassis with a after market box on the back.:)

It could be anything from just about any department, especially if you were close to I81.
