Want to trade my XDm-40 + cash for a CZ 75 SP-01.

I bought XDm-40 when ammo was scarce and 40 seemed the only ammo that Walmart had in stock. It's a great pistol but it's the only 40 I own and I hardly ever shoot it. If I got rid of it for a good price I could afford a CZ 75 SP-01 with Tritium nights sights and 18 round magazine. Own mostly 9mms and 45acps. I could eliminate the need keeping 40 S&W ammo.

Is the CZ 75 SP-01 worth the hassle? ;)

Honestly it depends on you...have you ever shot that pistol? Did it feel great in your hand?

The CZ-75 is IMMO the go to pistol for DA/SA shooting, I can't comment on the newer one's but those I shot circa 1980-1995 were great. However, your Springer is a leap forward in tech from them, why not just change barrel's?

The cz 75 imo is one of the best gems in the handgun world that gets often overlooked by the more popular models and brands. I haven't shot their polymer offerings, but I can vouch for the 75 being a great shooter. I eventually plan on picking one up myself. As someone else said already, go and shoot one though and make sure that YOU like it before you make the switch. Shooting one in person will likely seal the deal or get rid of the buying itch.

Good points from all. . .you could barrel change your XDm down to 9mm.

CZ 75 is a great shooter, not sure of the SP-01, but CZ 75B is a outstanding pistol.

don't think you would be bad off with either option.
