This should turn out to be an impeachment hearing.

WH rejects subpoena request for Solyndra docs | Campaign 2012 | Washington Examiner

The President's counsel says it refuses to respond to a congressional subpoena because of

a party line vote. It's only good if Democrats hold the majority, I guess.

Solyndra, Beacon Energy and probably a Gore sponsored company or two are laundering

money directly from taxpayers with aid and comfort from the White House and DOE. The

appropriation, so far came from a total of 65 Billion dollars for this kind of theft. That's some

American we have in the White House

I'm beginning to wonder if:

- Obama wins reelection

- GOP gets majority in House and Senate

that they may already have the goods on him to impeach and would jump on it then. And might well have already happened but for the Dem majority in the Senate.

Why is it that so many people on the left can disregard freedom of information requests, Subpoenas, congressional hearings, supreme court decisions, and requests for birth certificates. Why do we have laws if we can't put morons in jail for ignoring them?

It's a two-way street. The right, or republican party if you will, is just as much to blame.

It's amazing how the current adminstration gets a pass on all the crap they do from the mainstream media but they want to spend all day busting Herman Cain's balls over some B.S. "allegations" of harassement. Truely sad but little do they know that we are all not as stupid as they think and this stuff will come to an end one way or another.

But doesn't that tell you who the mainstream media sides with?

The left in this country is rapidly becoming a communist regime. They have ignored anything they

promised to do and have regulated us into oblivion, already. They are very arrogant in their abuse of

power. for those who want to say the Republicans have done just as bad, I beg you to go back and

consider who had control of what branch and who was leader before you blame this equally on the

Republicans. Yes, there are bad actors in the Republican Party, but none so bad as every one being

a member of a progressive, socialist party, in addition to their party affiliation. There are progressives

in the Republican Party, but not by a secondary affiliation to the Socialist Party. Some of the best examples

of bad Republicans are right here in Tennessee.

The progressives are the reason for the founding of the Tea Party movement and are actively engaged in

ridding us of the RINO's. They need all the help they can get.

Herman Cain and Occupy are solid examples of the radical left running scared and doing anything to ruin

their strongest competition. Arrogant abuse of power, to the point of treason. Obama, ther unions and Soros

are behind "Occupy". It's got their name all over it. ACORN is even involved, with a different name, anyway.

Garufa, the media has never been a willing participant of the right's needs or actions. The right and the left

play by two different sets of rules. I can't go as far as to say they are equally as bad. If that were so, Reagan,

negotiating with Tom Foley in the 80's would have been the same with a Republican Speaker. I can't see that.

OS, I wonder the same thing, with Issa jumping on the Fast and Furious. I wonder what else they have?

Not to get sidetracked on the topic, but my feeling is that he's the first real genuine candidate we've had in my lifetime, party aside. He rocks the establishment of either party and it wouldn't surprise me if neither party wants to see him win. He's are only hope, Romney is a JOKE!

Solyndra, for one, which is looking like only the tip of very nasty iceberg. Maybe all the selective prosecution and selective suing of states.

Maybe lots of other stuff that they're keeping close to the vest in case, too, who knows. I don't think Nixon's goons were nearly so corrupt -- that all came up over much less abuse of power than O's admin has shown, really just stupid thug stuff that wouldn't really have hurt the country anything like what we're seeing.

The amount of overt criminal activity under this administration is amazing. Everything he and his goons have been a party to has a questionable, even dirty, feel about it. And because they do it so freely means they know, without a doubt, they will be protected. This tells me there is a conspiracy involving a lot more people that we can probably even imagine. But because so many are probably involved the likelihood of an impeachment is very low.

And with things coming to light I bet there is a Enron style shredding party going on as we speak at Solenya

Dolomite

The Executive branch can and will ignore demands from the other branches when it feels it's in the best interests of the country, the President or the party. It's one of the reasons why we have elections every 4 years.

Andrew Jackson said, referring to Chief Justice Marshall, "John Marshall has made his ruling, now let him enforce it."

It can do that, but only so long. That's why the

impeachment process is in the Constitution. It

got Clinton impeached, just not removed. Nixon

resigned from the fear of it. Obama is proving to

be worse. The trouble is that impeachment would

take us right up to the elections. He can't blame

all this stuff on Bush, anymore. There are recordings

of his disdain for the Constitution and maybe he will

go down.

The problem with impeachment is also what we're

stuck with afterwards. Hilary or Donald Duck.

On a lighter note. When my son gave me the tour

of the UT Living Light home, the first thing he pointed

out to me was the solar array. Solyndra made them,

at a cost of around 46,000 bucks. That house was

neat, but very costly. I was glad to see him involved

in it, but it was a shame the 580 sq ft house had to

cost close to a half million bucks. I'm glad he got

some damn good job offers. Something good came

out of that money pit.

Yeh. and you and I remember how terrible Nixon

was treated by the media, not that he didn't deserve

it. I wonder what would happen with the media if

Obama had to face the same.

Its too early. If an impeachment hearing is done, lets wait until 6 months before the election...

Garufa, I agree that there is plenty of blame to go around re our politicians, but to liken the Republicans to the "right", assuming you mean Conservative, falls short of the mark. As long as we have Leadership which includes McConnell and Alexander at the helm of the afore mentioned party, we have simply "Democrat Lite" as the "opposition", if it could be called that.

We can only hope that the Republicans will have the spine to take this bull by the horns.

This administration is hiding so many lies it would redeem Nixon's faults. Solyndra, Fast&Furious, Sun Power, LightSquared.

It's sickening that the important stuff is being ignored while that attack HC. Democrats are showing their true colors.

With the deems holding the senate, it's pointless to do anything at this point.

You are stating that George W. Bush should have been impeached? He used Executive privilege 6 times during his administration. We are back into if a Republican does it, it is "constitutional" and if a Democrat does it, it is "criminal." I am an Conservative Independent voter and BS hypocrisy like this makes it harder and harder for me to vote Republican. I can't go Socialist so I have no options.

Executive privilege doesn't mean someone's a criminal. If it is used to perform a criminal act it becomes one.

There may be things, in my opinion, Obama has used his Executive Privilege to deliberately harm this

country. Is the Federal government somehow chartered to make loans to anyone. Bush and Obama

have done this, and I was against all of that bailout stuff around and after the election. Healthcare bill

is unconstitutional and was bribed and forced down us. Where in the Constitution is it that the government

can control everything about our lives?

It has been a continual creep towards socialism for many years and has finally been made obvious to

enough people to warrant doing something about it. This current President had his college records sealed,

his birth certificate is questionable at best, and his best qualification to hold the office is voting "present"

while in Illinois. His policies are destroying this country faster than Jimmy Carter could ever try.

Actually the only thing good coming out of this is the Republican Party being purged of progressive RINO's.

I don't really care if he is impeached or not. That was just an observation, but it wouldn't hurt me one bit

if it did happen. I would rather win an election against him, if enough people can agree on anything. That's

a huge hurdle to jump in this day.

Fast an Furious may end up an impeachable action that goes nowhere due to the wimps like Boehner and

Cantor.

Just because Bush did something does not make it right. Bush made a number of mistakes and caused a number of problems --- not all of them related to executive privilege. However, whatever mistakes Bush made, they pale beside the green energy scandal. I am not aware of bush doing anything like that, where the company is given a loan by the government and then donates that money back to campaign finances.... that is blatent criminal behavior. I do not care which member of what party, that sort of thing should lead to jail time. If Bush did that, he should also be held accountable.
