Cain is raising money now for his Iowa Campaign. He needed 1 million this week specifically dedicated towards the tv ads. He has actually made 2 million this week in other funds so he is doing well, the extra million is only for tv commercials. So, they set up the Iowa fund last week. The donations were steady but fairly slow til today. Just in this evening alone he has raised well over 150K! He is only about 20K short of his goal of 999,999 lol Go donate if you'd like, even just a few bucks. It will show the media, rival candidates, and establishment democrats and republicans alike that we are not falling for their games or smear campaigns.

The one thing these Cain scandals have shown me is that Herman Cain is completely capable of lying very quickly or rather when Herman Cain does it Herman Cain refers to it as "misspoke" (when he gets caught that is)

Does Herman Cain think we are idiots with his statement?

"Yes. I absolutely would, but I'm not going to do that unless I have a good reason to do that. Of course I would be willing to do a lie detector test."

What the heck does that mean? That's some pretty strong double speak right there.

Herman Cain is to much of an egotistical maniac.

All that said it is just a complete avoidance of the real issues by the media, for what reason I can't even guess.

Sex scandals=ratings.

EDIT: And BTW, it's just free enterprise. The Media is after profits like everybody else. At this point, responsible journalism would have to be forced by the government. That won't happen.

A few years ago I would have had the same sentiment, but the timeliness of these accusations and the massive press coverage of this makes me wonder what is getting by under the radar. It's certainly a great way to avoid dealing with any real issues. So many other things to deal with and this is the best we can come up with? I'm guilty as well.

Haven't posted (lurked haven't posted) in a couple of months and my 1st post in two months is about this. I'm ashamed.

I will not be surprised to find out that the Republican leadership is behind the leak. It appears to me that the GOP establishment is more afraid of Mr. Cain than the dems are.

Agreed. If the Dems wanted to use these allegations, they'd be foolish to play their hand right now. The smart thing would be to wait until he was officially the Republican candidate, then introduce all of these women with their stories.
