Traded the MSAR for this baby and I think I did alright. I liked the MSAR but it was just too long for my kids to shoot well and there isn't a .22 conversion for it. This I plan to add either a .22 conversion or a dedicated upper so I can afford to take my kids shooting more. Anyway, here it is. Stag lower, Sabre Upper with 18" SPR stainless fluted middy barrel, Vortex FH, Vltor stock, Troy MRF rails, EOTech 512, Magpul Al winter trigger guard, Magpul BUIS, and Tango Down grip.

Yeah, it would look good with a Nikon scope on it! Haha. Think I'll keep it for a while.

Thing is I have an AR that is no longer th one above! Sold the Stag lower and got a Sabre to go with the upper. Then I got a good offer for the upper so I traded it for another upper and cash. So the only things left from that picture are the BUIS, grip, stock, mag, and EOTech. Funny how these things go.

LOL that's awesome. Did you get a thundercat head logo lower or the dot-matrix etched one?

BTW, if you run across a stripped Sabre lower, let me know.

Nah, just the dot-matrix, but I figured it was good enough.

BTW - here is what my OP tuned into. Sabre mid length upper, Sabre lower, Troy TRX Extreme 11", Troy Lo-pro GB, Magpul BUIS, Tango Down Battle grip, Vltor Mod Stock, and EOTech 512.

I really liked the original upper, but it was a little heavy for my kids (being an SPR barrel and all). The combination of the barrel I have now and the really light Troy rail make this very light.
