Saiga S12 24"

I have a buddy that is looking to get rid(sell)to me a saiga s12 in 24" but its has a folding stock. I am not current on what if any current ban will be coming for them?

I would like it, but only interested if it could be an investment piece down the road.

I have checked completed items on GB but that doesnt really tell me much.

Personally, I think they have maxed out. For awhile they had gone up to $800 and I would say that is the ceiling. I've watched them go for $350 (where they should be) 5 years ago to where they are now. They are coming down in price and will probably lock into the $450-$550 range and stay. The ban nonsense will never happen unless they ban a whole lot of other shotguns so while it is not out of the realm of possibility I don't see it happening.

That being said I think they will hold their value in the $500-$550 range and would be a great shotgun for anyone. As a collector piece not so much but as a shooter and more fun than you will know what to do with gun!

Thanks, thats what I was thinking. But just wanted to hear it from others that have been looking also. Theres a lot on GB that are NO sell at $599
