I suspect a lot of the drop is due to the increase in legal carry. Everyone who was against it swore up n down it would be the old west all over again (except the old west only happened in movies) and that we'd have gun fights everywhere. When that didn't happen a lot of the arguments of the anti gun folks failed and they lost a ton of credibility.

I just saw the video from Cam and Company talking with someone from Gallup Poll. Pretty happy to see the numbers turning in favor of less gun restrictions.
