went by Midsouth Shooters Supply yesterday and picked up 500 Hornady 185g FMJ SWC and 500 Hornady 230g FMJ-RN Bullets

my starting load is gonna be

185G is Titegroup 5.6g and COL 1.135

230g is Titegroup 4.3g and COL 1.230

I have Titegroup, Power Pistol and Win231 available to use

I found the powerpistol to be best for my Beretta 92 9MM

so i will load some powerpistol with these too but i have 3 lbs of titegroup so i want to work up some loads with it

does anyone have any .45 ACP loads that you like using any of the above powders if so please post so i know about what i may be looking at for final load but i will as i always do start with the starting numbers per my manuels though and know that i may have to work up to what you post

thanks a bunch

My experience with the PT1911 saw that they preferred a little longer OAL on the 230g RN. I used some Ranier copper plated RN which had a bit of a pointy nose and I loaded them at 1.271. Traditional RN I loaded at 1.268-1.269. Never had a feed issue.
