Bushnell Trophy TRS 25 is probably your best bet for the money. It's gotten a lot of praise as a cheap yet reliable red dot.

its a great sight for ~$80

I have north of 600rds of 9mm (on my AR) and its held zero perfectly.

if you need a riser amazon also has the UTG brand medium (co-witness) and high (1/3 co-witness) for about $10 and they are rock solid too.

i have a UTG Tri rail mounted on the SKS will the red dot just fit right on top of that?

Yeah. It'll fit any Weaver type rail.

I know I sound like a broken record, but Ultra-Dot is easily the best when you consider product and warranty. Right up there with dillon and leupold in both quality and service.

FWIW...If you are looking for durable many competition shooters have them mounted directly on the slides of their pistols. Think about that for a minute....$125 isn't a bad price either.

I'm looking at the new Ultra Dot 6 for the AR. The Matchdot's and Ultradot's are fine equipment but a lttle more than your stated $100.00. They have a strong following in match shooting all over the world and a life time warranty to boot

.Ultra Dot West Home

But the Bushnell is getting ordered tomorrow for my AK bulid.

Which ultra dot for 125.?

20mm black

Sorry - I was quoting my 03ffl discount price. It looks like they jumped them up to $150

They are the best without question. Would actually trust it more than an eotec or acog for my hunting pistols

I'm with these two ^^^.

I have several friends who are using them on their AKs and love them. The only reason I don't own one is because my 516 came with a red dot.

Definitely plenty of bang for the buck.

the Primary Arms have also gotten good reviews.

Have seen these work well. Would not use it or any other red dot sight except Aimpoint for duty/protection. But for plinking they work well.
