I can see bumping it once, but more than that is annoying.

Bumping multiple times in one day would be quite annoying.

I have had ads on TGO that took a few weeks to sell, and I have bumped them 5 or 6 times. However, I usually wait about 3 to 4 days between bumps. I see nothing wrong with that.

Once every couple of days is fine, imho. I've been seeing ads get bumped every couple hours recently.

Broadcasting desperation usually isn't good for business.

Many times if something interests me I'll subscribe and wait for the price to drop or make an offer. If the bump keeps showing up then the seller should to go elsewhere.
