I currently have a G30 with a crossbreed supertuck. How is say a full size or compact m&p for daily carry? I had a m&p full size a while back but sold it. I'm really looking to get in to another one or I think I might be able to trade the G30 for my old one. Does anyone have a M&P45 in full and in compact that has a supertuck? How does it feel?

/endthreadjack. Sorry I didn't want to start another thread based on pretty much the same topic.

I can't speak for the .40, but I have the M&P 9C and the G26. The M&P feels a hell of a lot better in my hand, but the Glock manages recoil a lot better. I would describe the cross section of the M&P grip to be an oval, while the Glock is more like a rectangle with round edges. I have the APEX parts in my M&P, so it's not really fair to compare triggers, but the Glocks trigger is better "out of the box" than the M&P (before APEX parts). I also love the Advantage Arms conversion kit for the G26. I wish they or perhaps APEX would make the same for the M&P compact. (I don't like the safety on the full size .22 gun that S&W is currently selling.) Anyway, I am torn between both. Like someone else said, if you can arrange it, shoot before you buy.
