thanks for the advice all, I dont mean a college campus btw, Im just talkin about a place ive lived in for five years now and in the past year the whole area turned to **** and seems like all the good folks moved out the complex. I dont wanna move but im def. gonna arm myself.

Sorry, I assumed and we all know what that does. You said "goin to class soon"...I took that to mean college. I didn't put the sentence in context as far as referring to the actual gun class. Once again...sorry. I'm not a complete idiot but I will admit to being a partial idiot lol best of luck with HCP!

The law that applies doesn't say anything about being "loaded", it talks about intent to go armed, which generally means having the gun loaded or having the ammo in close proximity so that the gun could easily be loaded.

This is the same principle as if you tell a cop you have the baseball in the car "for protection" he can take you downtown for intent to go armed. It says "intent" not actually being armed. So arguing technicalities or semantics will get you free room and board.
