I am one that is married and has 4 kids...I will be paying toward bills, my goal for the year end is to be debt free, minimum of bills, house and car note, it things go well this year, get rid of that car note, getting close to having to replace my Jeep, so another car note is in the future. Even though my goal is by year end, I am hoping that I will have the equity line paid off by the end of summer, then start paying on the car.

That sounds like my goal. Be debt free except the house by the end of the year. Looks like we will make it too. Trying to make it to where the wife doesn't have to work at all. Right now she works part time.

Then again, we will probably have another car note as her Cherokee is almost 10 years old and starting to need replacement parts.

Yep, tryying to make it so the wife doesn't have to work outside of the house.

My Jeep is 9 years old. I'm looking at the Commanders, got to have the extra seating to get the whole family in....or I could buy a TJ Rubicon!

Told the wife that I was going to buy a new pistol with my $600. "What are you going to do with your $600?", I asked her. After a brief pause she said, "I'm taking your six and my six and putting it on a new leather couch." End of discussion. LOL

I'll probably stock up on ammo and reloading supplies with the part that my wife lets me keep. I figure I'll have enough for 1 primer and maybe a box of .22's. :(

Umm,yall do know that you only get 300?

Actually, that's incorrect. Here's the information on the economic stimulus rebate:

Starting in May, the Treasury will begin sending economic stimulus payments to more than 130 million households. To receive a payment, taxpayers must have a valid Social Security number, $3,000 of income and file a 2007 federal tax return. IRS will take care of the rest. Eligible people will receive up to $600 ($1,200 for married couples), and parents will receive an additional $300 for each eligible child younger than 17. Millions of retirees, disabled veterans and low-wage workers who usually are exempt from filing a tax return must do so this year in order to receive a stimulus payment.

That said, I'm looking at up to $1,800.00. That's a tad bit more than your $300 estimate. :(
