Looks great. How long does it take to paint one?

once the guns are broke down I put the base coat on. Then reassemble the firearm and use templates cut from posterboard to finish the rest. Just random. Probably 3 to 4 hours total. I have more I have to do when I get around to it. Right now I am making a couple sets of grips for the High Standard double 9 and the Ruger single six. so many projects, so little time......

How its it holding up? I've found duracoat not to be as tough and durable as cerakote. I really like the fact i can buff the scratches out of my cerakoted finishes with my finger or just a rag. I've never been able to do that with duracoat.

Same here. Everyone tells me my guns are immaculate. I was always taught to clean everytime.after shooting and clean before shooting the first time you shoot it. Ive done it this way on all of my guns and never had any rusting issues. With duracoat it did seem to wear alot faster i know the pistol i had duracoated wore on the frame rails after 150 rounds. I eventually sold that pistol but the dude that bought it wound up getting it cerakoted because of the wear.
