On top of that they had "Reservation Rewards" that you signed up to automatically when placing an online order. CTD denied it but the rewards company confirmed their association with CTD. It was a $10 a month fee that took me almost a year to figure out. When confronted CTD told me I should have opted out at the time of purchase. They offered no refund and I couldn't find any way to use the rewards I was paying for.

CTD will never get another dime from me.

I've never bought anything from them because of their gouging and for the simple fact they do not have the lowest prices on anything.

Wow. I've always seen their magazine sitting around the office but I didn't know there was such a negative reputation. I haven't bought anything from them so I can't contribute one way or the other, but now I'm curious to hear about people's dealings with them.

I generally buy from the cheapest source I can find for the products I want. I have no responsibility for anyone who doesn't research the market enough to know what price range is reasonable.

I also don't attempt to make political statements with my buying power, so I shop at Walmart, use PayPal, own a Moonie gun, three Croatian guns, knowingly buy certain Chinese products, and occasionally buy from CTD.

It's called capitalism and I tend to roll that way.
