I love mine, punches the center out of the targets no sweat... AND I'm not that great of a shot. I shoot the Kel Tec better than my Springfield right now. It's been perfectly reliable, but it needs to be oiled, a lot. I went to the range, shot a couple hundred rounds through mine, went home didn't clean it because I was going to the range again in a few days, when I went it had some stovepipes... But if you keep it clean and oiled you'll have zero issues.

PF-9 Tips

1. Be aware that it is probably the easiest gun to limp wrist. Even experienced shooters have had problems with this. This causes the most failures and complaints about the PF-9. When you read about people who have had the gun repaired and replaced and It still fails, you will know why.

2. Clean and oil it after every range session and regularly if it just sits in the holster for a while.

3. Polish the feed ram to a mirror finnish. This is very easy and helps with performance.

4. Test your SD ammo to make sure it feeds properly. The PF9 can be picky about what JHPs it will eat.

5. Review the PF-9 forums first if you have any problems.

6. As many have said, I will reiterate. It is NOT a range gun. It will wear out an experienced shooter and make newbies gun shy. Its slightly more fun to fire than lighting firecrackers in your hand.
