New Tennessee Gun Owner

I bought my fist gun today - Ruger SR9c. Seems like a good time to join the group now that I actually am a TN gun owner (live in Nashville).

Seems like a pretty sweet gun to me. I am planning for it to be my CCW once the permit arrives.

Haven't taken it to the range yet, but I have given it a good initial cleaning (apparently these things sometimes come from the factory with a lot of grease on the striker).

I am really looking forward to getting out to the range and starting a new hobby.

Good Gun and have fun at the range.

A good holster and you will hardly notice it is there, and I clean and familiarize myself with all of my firearms prior to test driving them.

P.S. I think it is more of an addiction than hobby.

Thanks everyone.

Thinking about checking out NRange in Hendersonville this evening. Any recommendations for ranges in the Nashville area?

Welcome aboard, and congrats on your first purchase. Ruger makes some good firearms, I don't have any experience with the SR's. But I do own a few Rugers. As was said above they can be addictive though.
