Anyone going out tomorrow to get some? I figure WD will let loose at least. I was gonna go but Whiskey couldn't get a permission slip from his mom and I needed him around so I could blame him for my follies.

I have a bunch of hens too. I was going to take my daughter on the youth hunt tomorrow, but my work schedule got changed. I probably willl just wait and stick a few while deer hunting. We'll see though!

Get some man! Take out the shotgun and put down the hammer on as many as you can... I mean 6 is the limit I think for our area.

I almost got a shot on some hens with my bow this afternoon. It was hurrying for a late afternoon hunt and caught movement in front of me. I got behind a bush and crept up to within 50 yards of the hens. I ran out of cover and time was ticking. They were heading away so I tried to cover 10 more yards when their heads were down, but they spooked. The came back in close to my stand to roost, but not close enough for a shot. I also had to run deer out from under my stand to leave tonight. It was a busy afternoon. I could have shot a huge raccoon too.
