Although I do not have an FN, I have fired a few rounds through one and it was alright, nothing unusual or unique but in my opinion, it has a little better “fit and finish” than the PT845. As for the Taurus, I did buy a PT845 on an impulse buy right after they first came out a couple of years ago. The trigger reset was the real selling point that hooked me, it is freekin’ awesome; the shortest of all the pistols I own. Plus, I really liked the way it felt in my hands. The high capacity magazine was also a real plus. One thing I cannot stand is the looks of the front sight: it seams like it sticks up an inch, and I’m not super accurate with it. Accurate enough to defend myself, but no single hole puncher for sure. I have had 0 reliability issues and have maybe 500 rounds through it. I am not a huge fan of the Taurus Brand in general and have had a problem with their SLOW customer service, but have been a Taurus Owner since the early ‘90’s (PT92 AF). I would say that I am happy with both of the ones I own now, for what I’ve got in them and what I use them for. I’d say go with the one that feels the best.
