I would've posted earlier, but my girlfriends trailer got broken into tonight and was comforting her. They didn't find her gun thank goodness. She was setting in her driveway with it waiting for the cops to show up. She's never really owned or fired a gun till she met me. She wasn't really against them, just not around them much. Now maybe I can get her to go get her HCP and she will stop saying things like "Do you have to carry everywhere we go?"

Perhaps you should gently mention how bad this could have been had she shown up while the ripoff was in progress, and her gun was inside the scene, perhaps in perp's hand, rather than in her hand?

Doesn’t matter which one is a toy if someone is threatening me with one.
this old man has said that for years. too many of them out there that look real. a friend showed me one and until i had it in my hand i didnt know it was a bb pistol
