is anyone familiar with the zero brand bullets?

i bought 500 124 gr fmj at hyatts in Charlotte NC while traveling the other day for a great price compared to several online places

only thing is the box says 9MM 124 FMJ but i have weighed a couple dozen of them and they weigh anywhere from 124.9 to 125.4 is this normal and should i use load data for 124 or 125?

i will be using Titegroup

but i can not find any load data for them anywhere.. looking on http://data.hodgdon.com it shows

only using winchester wsf for the 124 gr but on the 125 gr SIE FMJ it shows starting load of 4.1 and max of 4.4 using titegroup

so what im asking is would it be safe to use the starting load of 4.1 gr's of Titegroup with the 9MM 124 FMJ Zero Bullet? and if im seeing it right i need to have COL of 1.150 this is by looking in the hornady 8th book for a Hornady 124 Gr FMJ-RN round?

Thanks

Zero bullets are very good. I have used them for a while and have no complaints. The weight variation shouldn't be of any concern and using the 124gr. data will be just fine. As always, start low and work your way up from there. If you are in doubt, the best thing to do would be to call Zero or Roze Distribution and ask for load data directly from them.

Historically, I go through about 20k Zero's per year. (This year has been on the low side.) It's the only bullet I use. In 9MM, I use the 124JHP's and 125JHP's. In 40, I use the 180JHP's. 230JHP's in 45.

They can sometimes be hard to source, so when you get the chance to get some, buy A LOT.

The 0.3% variation you saw is pretty good for bulk bullets. Definitely nothing to worry about. Zero is a reputable bullet manufacturer that's been around a while.

yea i shot about 200 rounds of them yesterday with different powders and loads

4.1 gr's of Titegroup was right on at 15 yards

also had some power pistol and win231 loaded and the 231 was dead on seams the power pistol was off more.

but that could have been my hand getting tired by then too LOL
