Any chance of a look at the stages? And can you tell us what the max range for rifle is?

Someone working the gate I assume?

If you need any help let me know. I work in Gallatin and get off at 300pm tomorrow if not earlier.

What are the max rounds fired in one section for the pistol? Reason I'm asking is I'm running an M&P .45c and nobody in TN stocks the 8 rd mags for it. I'm going to have to order one I guess. So that means I could go 8+1 for the first mag and then have 8 more for a total of 17.

Thanks!

I don't have any high round counts for any one weapond except Rifle at around 20. Most pistol is 16 and under. I do have the pistol or shotgun on steel rule this match.

I plan on being at the range by 1:30 on Friday and working until around 6:00. Feel free to come out and help setup.

Wish I had seen this before I left work (Might help if I could look at anything while I was at work.).

Maybe next time.

Any guesses on how long the match will run?

Nah, i did. I got there a bit later then i'd planned and had a mild panic attack when the gate was locked and I was there aww awone wondering wtf the deal was. Needless to say someone showed up about 5 minutes later and I was good to go. :dropjaw:

Other than the shotgun problems I was having I had a great time. Looks like I have a shell holder (I think that is what it is called at the back of the mag tube) issue with my 870. Will mess with it more tomorrow.

Don't know if I will make it next much or not but will try my best.

Could have done like Carl Szpanski(I know I messed up the spelling and don't care) and jump the fence to open the gate. He showed up after 9AM and lucky he did not get arrested for it.

I jumped the fence once. It is a sign of dedication to the sport and an individual quality to be held in high regard.

I always knew that they step ladder you keep in the car would come in handy. It helps to be able to touch the top of the fence!

Thanks for a great match Robert!

Ditto on the above. I know I blew it on at least a stage or two but I'm anxious to know how I came out overall.

Anybody willing to give a un down of the stages / scenarios for the event?

Having competed in one, I am somewhat familiar with pistols stages for IDPA , but curious about the shotgun / rifle portion.

Thanks,

AJ
