Truly awesome. Love the discreet blade design. :)

Btw, does ZDP-189 just not get dull, or did you order the Kryptonite hone, too? :D

Wicked Edge knife sharpener will keep it razor sharp, so no worries

The maker was an actual Knife fighter in Thailand for several years the blades he designs are for that purpose while they are very aggressive in looks they are built for function, he uses no CNC machines and his knives are completely made by hand by him

I'm sure they're top notch, just a high end razz. :)

I'm not real impressed with the blade shape. I don't plan on knife fighting anyone and it doesn't look as if it would perform many utility functions that most demand from a knife.

How do you like your WEPS? I have been looking at those, but before I spend the money (kinda pricey) I wanted to hear what people thought about them. My ZT300 is in definite need of sharpening.

Well the Edge Pro was the best sharpener that I have ever used in my life, the Wicked Edge Pro kit I have on order and the people that I trust on knife forums that sharpen $3000.00 knives with it swear by it and say that it is much easier to use. As for the ZT knives and the Recurve blade that is the whole reason that I am buying the Wicked Edge as it sharpens them with no problem.

Expensive they are but they will last a lifetime and if you have some High end knives that you would like to keep a razors edge sharpness to and keep the blade looking new by not marking it up in any way than in my opinion they are worth their weight in Gold

I did not buy this for a utility knife nor to Fight with it, I just like it :) Having said that I am considering changing to a drop point blade 3.5 length it would be more practical, similar to this one with a smaller choil

I think it's about time you post a group photo of all your knives Steve! Every time I log on you are ordering a new one. I thought OhShoot had the disease bad! You might have it worse than he does :)

Yeah, I think he is going to have to buy a couple of new safes, just for his knives. :D

Yeah Steve, you've really got this knife thing bad! You must have 10 or 15 in your collection by now! Wish you hadn't shown me these. Especially not with the Busse setup at Knob Creek coming up.

FWIW, I like the scales on the drop point better than the fighter. They look more comfortable in the hand.

Fred,

I know a couple of guys from the forums that own some of his knives and they swear they are better flippers than Hinderer or RJ Martin's we will see, I am also toying with the Idea of getting Blue G-10 and Carbon fiber Handle like the one in the picture above, I am waiting on a price quote from him it may be cheaper than the original order that I made and if so I will be changing it

You always find the coolest stuff. I swear, your knife budget exceeds the GDP of some small nations.

Ok,

I changed it to a Hard2 Type S, Drop point Blade satin Polished flipper, with Titanium handles, it will also have a Moon Glow back spacer (it glows in the dark and looks wicked) He quoted me a 7 to 8 month wait so it will be my 2012 Custom knife, I have a Sebenza on order so that should be the last knife purchase for me this year it will be a larger version of this knife

I don't believe you. :)

Seriously though, when you get the Yuna, you will definitely have to post pics. It sounds like it is going to be pretty bad@$$.

He had about 5 blade designs, and at least 2 of them were more of a classic design that would be good for utility work. But really, a $600 utility knife? Must be nice! I like the assassin style best (it just looks cool), but he would have change that grip design, possibly even make it a fixed blade, before I would bite.

I wish it was $600.00 but mine will be the type "S" his steroid overkill version which adds to the price, Yun will build you a custom fixed blade knife with the Assassin blade at any length that you should want just email him and ask. Unfortunately when you get into custom knives it gets very expensive. Ken Onion is an acquaintance of mine I want him to build me a Knife and he has offered to do so but it would cost me more than a LWRC .308 rifle so I have not done that yet.

He takes photo shoots of all the knives that he builds, so I promise there will be plenty of eye candy when I get it

I get what you're saying Willis. I've got the knife jones so bad (just ordered a ZT 0300 for no real reason) that I am seriously considering sending Major a check every month and having him send me the occasional knife (he has nice taste in knives). But every time I am about to go even more overboard I think "This knife costs more than a freaking gun"

Then I buy the knife anyway. Have you ever tried to cut sopressata with a 10/22? It really doesn't work.

I think you will really like that ZT 0300. It is what I carry everyday. It is a fantastic knife.
