In response to the mouse gun thread...

I did not want to hijack the thread so I made another one. I posted in the original thread that my mom might have a mouse gun, so here it is...

She says she got it from her mom, but she doesn't know if it was her dad's first. I'm not sure if it even fits in the same class as the guns posted in the mouse guns thread. It does look similar in size to me though. Like I said I don't know much about it...

If you can't read the slide it says...

PIC DECATUR, GA CAL .25 (Then it has three odd symbols)

MADE IN GERMANY

I'd just like to know if anybody knows anything about it or can tell me anything.

Thanks

it counts as a mouse gun. It looks like a typical 25, the same design used by several makers, but well made from the looks of it.

Her guess is that it's about 40 years old. I found it in a box that contained a box of Remington .25 (50 cartridges) for $3.99. Which I assume that was the last time it was shot. I'm going to see if it still works correctly tomorrow.

Edit: This is about all I can find

Unfortunately I don't read German. It does look just like the Rhoner Modell "SM 12" on that link
