Phantom, how would you feel about a 2.5" pine cube made out of 3/4" pine cubes glued together and colored with non-toxic markers?

It's a puzzle cube. It caused me lots of grief in my Engineering Design class, so I want to make it go away.

Your pine cube is fine and so are checks. See y'all tomorrow.

Mars I did not want to appear ungrateful, but that hat sucks, LOL

I am not even an old enough fart to think it looked nice. My Dad maybe but not me.

It might could make a good target.

I wanna know where you got the head at?

Beats me, but I was very proud to get that head. I have two. Make me an offer. :)

Hey Cody, so far it's free!!!! That's cheaper than a check.

I have lots of hats already, far too many. I have a tan one thats similar, but it's all "America"-ish, not really a brand or anything.

Very good time. Even if I cheated a little, I actually hit some clays! (I call it a reference shot hehehe) I obliterated that pine cube. And, I found out I can hit more with the Armscor using iron sights.

Thanks for the ammo Mike! I'll have to get a clay thrower and try hitting clays in the field out behind the grandparent's house (it's not big enough for rifles, but is good enough for shotguns)

I'll upload everything I got tomorow, when I dig out the card reader.

Well, as usual a good time was had by all. All that attended that is. We were a small band but what we lacked in numbers we made up for in firepower. TarHeel was working with a new lower and stock for his AR which I might add shoots like a dream, I was trying (unsuccessfully) to hit clays with my 11 7/8" barreled, birds' head grip shotgun and Mike.357 was actually hitting clays IN FLIGHT with his SKS. I think it was a lucky hit but he just grinned like he did it every day of the week. Congrats to Cody in his clay shooting debute. Papaw's double barrel shoots really nice. You moght try to con him out of that Cody. We all got a big chuckle when Shadow12's better half fired off that big ol' 8 mm after we told her that it didn't recoil hardly at all- no more than a .22. The words that flew from her mouth after she was nearly knocked off her seat were nearly as hot as the load she fired and certainly un-repeatable but the scene was priceless.

The company was great and the weather was perfect. For those of you that decided not to make the trip, you missed a great day at the range.

Damn, I missed Mike shooting clays with his SKS!

And I think that by now, being the only one other than mom to use them, I'm getting the guns anyway.

I thought it was funny that during her string of cussin' I heard you say "well, maybe a couple .22's".

Big time had by all, you no shows missed out.

I think my favorite part of the shoot was shooting black powder a few feet away from Phantom while he tried to shoot a few clays. LOL There was no hope of seeing them clays in the air for all the smoke I was making. I am glad my rudeness was taken in the joking spirit it was meant.

I had no doubt I was going to hit a clay or two with the SKS, my superior rifle skills shown through, :stir::D

I did do a pretty fair job of covering my target at 100 yards using my Savage MkIIGL. I am very happy that my inexpensive BSA scope has held zero over several shoots. I am going to lighten up the accu-trigger and I am guessing next time I shoot it the pattern will lose the fliers. When I did my part correctly the bullets only left one little ragged hole.

Aside from the shooting Big Ed's (official pizza of the Eastern Band of TGO)was great too!

Sucks that I couldn't make it out. Sounds like you all had a great time.

Had a great time guys. Thank you all for having me out. Got a chance to see some nice rifles/pistols do a little shooting and hopfully made some new friends along the way. Looking forward to the next shoot.

arg. Guys, I wish I could have made it. I ended up working 16 hours yesterday, so I was in no condition to go anywhere. we've been working our tails off down here in the noog, trying to get their at&t towers working like they should. with some of the work I've seen so far, its amazing that they work at all!

anyhow, it sounds like you guys had a great time! *sigh*

If I can, I'll try and make the chattanooga shoot.

Well T-Ball comes first, been there before.

We missed both you and Tower. I kept watching the driveway to see you maybe show up.

Mech it was nice shooting with you. Hope you can make it out with us again.

I will bring the M44 next time and we can compare.

I wish I had made it. Darn me. I woke up and it was raining so I went to the Gunshow with a friend and then we ran around visiting monkeys and delivering eggs. I did join the NRA at the gun show if that helps. I did shoot one of my bows, but after 5 shots it started raining on me so I quit cause I don't want to ruin it..

I would like to make the next one for sure. Sounds like you guys know how to have fun shooting stuff.

I was there in spirit. I was jonesing to go badly, but the company had to be entertained.

Mars, I missed the biggest reason to send the hat to Canyn, he needs something to keep his dome from getting sunburnt this summer. ;)

That HAS to be funny.

I will STILL be able to take time off so I think I'm going to do it at a time when Julie and I can go to the shoot. that will be the NEXT shoot that we have. I think it'll be the May shoot. I didn't have time to even eat with Mars when I was last home...we were packing up the apartment so she could come out on the road with me.

THIS time, I won't have those worries! we'll be able to go and shoot and have a great time!

Sounds like all had fun. Corey and I missed out.

Unfortunately we couldn't make it as I'm writing this from my Mother's house in California. My father passed away last Wednesday at 9PM Pacific time and I flew out here this past weekend to be with my mother and two sisters.

Hopefully Corey and I will be able to attend the next East TN group meet of the TGO.

Sorry for your loss, Scot. Words aren't much help in times like this, and if grief could cure death, it would be more valued than gold. Still, they are all we have.

Next meet likely at my place, unless Mars has cleared the billboard idea with DOT. I won't be there, but I do hope to be able to have something as a prize - probably get someone to draw a name from a hat - anyone who shows up and shoots has a shot at it, so to speak.

Sorry for your loss Scott .

Mark writes much more eloquently than I so his words can speak for me as well.

you and Corey were missed.
