Everyone is welcome! The range is reserved for TGO that day. :taunt:

Time for a three gun scenario I think. Ages 16 and younger can shoot it with rimfire but it's centerfire for everyone else. You'll need a pistol with two magazines (8 round min. capacity or three 5 round speedloaders if shooting revolvers- revolver shooters will get a handicap), a rifle with at least two 20-30 round magazines or the equivilant and of course a good shotgun with 10 rounds of 00 Buckshot. No hints on the course of fire until the day of the shoot. :D

Remember the old saying, "Speed is fine but accuracy is final". Time and good hits make the scores.

Nope, but my new shotty can be. Remember it out shot Phantom7 last OR meet (thanks Phantom6 )....PM me if your serious. I'm still iffy on coming myself.

If I want to do the 3-gun, I'd have to borrow all three.

If you can give a full round count, I can buy ammo and see if anyone is willing to share if I use my own ammo.

What range in Ockridge?

I've been to one gun show in about five years, about a month ago. I might go to another one in another five years. :)

I have not been since June I think. I am hoping to have some blow money for this one. B-Day is a few days before this gunshow and I always get cash (not a lot) from my parents and mother in law. Plus I been saving my coins since the beginning of the year. Hoping to have a little to drop that won't be missed from anywhere else because of that. At least I can scratch the bi-pod off the list (thanks Mars). Probably will look for a pair of grips for one of the revolvers.

michael1 the range is a private range (very nice facility)we use thanks to Phantom6, follow this thread and I am sure there will be directions posted the week of the shoot.

Or go back to any of the other E. TN TGO meets. More than likely, you'll pick on one that was in Oak Ridge and directions will be in there somewhere.

I'd probably rather get to shooting early and maybe cook some dogs at the range, but I'm cool either way.

I'm good either way, as long as I'm hungry.

Who is willing to loan me a rifle, shotgun, or pistol for the 3-gun and what caliber (exactly, if you say a 9mm, since there's several 9mm) is it? I'll have to go over required round count, too. *buying own ammo*

You can use one of my 9mm's and either my ar or ak for the rifle part Cody. If you're buying wally ammo, you'll probably want to shoot the ar since their .223 ammo is cheaper than 7.62. I'm in the same boat as you on the shotty as mine's pretty iffy atm. :D

I haven't used an AK, but I'm partial to the AR anyway. The 9mms are 9mm Luger, correct?

Yeah, my only shotgun is an O/U .22WMR/20Guage, and I only have a handfull of ammunition, and that's #6 shot.

So now to just buy the ammunition, and find someone to loan me a shotgun.

My shoulder is still in pretty rough shape. I would be willing to let Dotsun and Cody use my 870 for the shoot. If Phantom6 is willing, I can leave it with him for you guys to use and pick it up from him later. Please be nice to my baby and shoot the hell out of her, its been awhile since she got to go boom.

Is it ok to come out if we aren't going to shoot much. I've shot some over my life, but thanks to my brothers having horrible tempers we never had them in the house...Right now I only have a S&W 4566 and a Mossy 500. I haven't even gotten a holster yet haha.

Oh that shouldn't be a problem. My first time going ot one of these meets, I had a Marlin 39A and a Ruger New Model Single Six.

SUNTZU: Thanks man, I owe you one.

Don't mention it Cody. I'll get ahold of Phantom and drop it off to him before the meet.
