marlin model 60

A friend of has a marlin model 60. when you fire it jams will not load the next shell. dents it bad with two marks on the brass . took it a part cleaned it good still does it.whats wrong

check the mag spring does it feed better with a full mag also check the nylon buffer located in the bolt gun parts co has a good break down of the parts

On mine the heel block was worn out, I spent some time and milled a new one and have had no problem since. There are some available for sale but hard to track down. good luck
