Congrats Adam. You can beat a productive morning in the woods. What kind of bow did you use?

Eastman outfitters Crossbow Cabela's Stalker 22" bolt and Carbon Express F-15 Mechanical Broads.

Anyone else have any luck?

Shoulder Surgery Had no choice. The only thing I don't like about mine is how heavy the draw is on it. 165lbs is a bit much. targets are expensive and I still haven't found on that would stop my bolts.

I use a "mechanical Draw" (cord type) and it makes drawing fast and easy! I loose fletchings every time I shoot. Just the way it is I guess!

Rhinehart targets will stop them. Thinks that's what they are called.

Thanks I'll look into them

I've had Rhinehart targets, McKenzie tagets....I have "pass throughs" on most Shots. At the least up to the fletchings, which most times tears a fletching loose.

Congrats Adam.

Hey for the past couple of weeks I've been shooting a 4 gal. planting pot full of ashes, at 30 yds. the bolts only go in about half way none have passed through it. Its worked prety darn good so far.

Really? I've got a 160lb Horton and the 15-1 rhinehart stops every single one.

Ashes? Never would think of that. I've had to "backup" my 3d targets with old couch cushions to keep the bolts from passing through. It seems to be working OK. I only have to have 2-3 bolts re-fletched per session now!

Congrats! Did she run very far?

A little bit. About 40 Yards. I thought it was a great shot and when to track her and she kicked back up and ran about 20 yards then laid down. I had eyes on the entire time. Took her about 10 minutes to expire. Note to self wait longer then 10 minutes to get out of the tree.
