Greetings from Fort Jackson/Columbia SC

I know the title sounds a little far from Tennessee, but I am a resident from Chattanooga. I'm an active duty Staff Sergeant/E-6 in the Army, my MOS is 11B/Infantry. My family and I are currently stationed in South Carolina at Fort Jackson where I help run firing ranges for United States Army Training Center. I just got here from Fort McPherson in Atlanta GA, prior to that I was stationed at Fort Drum NY in the 10th Mountain Division for about 6 years. I'm not too new to this site as I've been a member for some time but rarely found the time to do any posting. I'm hoping to change that now. I look forward to making some new acquaintances and possibly some new friends on here.

Welcome to TGO. Fort Jackson, I remember well. Took basic there many many years ago, still had wooden barracks. I remember the firing range being pretty warm in July. Thanks for your service. Stay safe.

Welcome, I just left FT Jackson in December for a second time. . I was a DS there many years ago. Now stationed in Nashville.
