Carter Endorses Romney (Kind of)

A very good reason to not vote for Romney. To get this idiot's endoresment, Mitt has to be a total RINO. To get that lib-tard state of Mass to vote for him too.

Jimmy thinks Obama can beat him (so do I). Because the same people will stay home and not vote for him, just like they did with McCain, letting Barry have it one more time.

Carter runs a close second to the Idiot POTUS we have now. Carter had his chance and has spent his life since then trying to make up for his clownish behavior, not unlike the behavior we're seeing now from the number 1 Idiot.

View From The Porch: The Silly Season gets sillier...

So yesterday, Mitt Romney, who is a New York newsroom liberal's idea of what a conservative Republican should be like, gained the support of all three dozen loyal backers of Tim Pawlenty. This should, theoretically at least, give Romney a base in the potent GOP machinery of those noted Red State strongholds, Massachusetts and Minnesota, which between them muster almost enough registered Republican voters to fill a smallish Ramada conference room.

The media promptly wet itself a little bit with joy, since an Obama/Romney race in November of next year would be their dream situation, being, as it were, a sort of de facto second Democrat primary.

Does anybody even listen to Carter anymore much less take him serious?

My mom, representative of millions of blue hairs, thinks he hung the moon, being so religious and all, and Southern Baptist at that.

The pastor of her sizable Baptist church calls Mormonism a "cult", so if that is even mildly representative of Protestant viewpoint across the south, there go all those votes away from Romney (even with Ole Peanut's endorsement) right back to O, or a third party candidate (which this election really MAY WELL COST the GOP candidate the election). A similar but opposite reaction in the more "progressive" states may well avoid the Bible thumping Texas cowboy.

Remember, a third of the voters in this country give more thought to where they'll have dinner out this week than in actual consideration of a candidate's actual (at least, stated) stances and generally make up their minds over some quite minor subjective criterion.

Of course, I rather understand, since the system grinds out such none-of-the-above parodies for the main choices, but still....

Only thing that came from the Carter administration that had any value was Billy Beer.

It seems to me that peanut brain wasn't endorsing the RINO, but rather simply stating that his religion shouldn't be a factor, and would be glad to see it wasn't.

Did you drink any? Swill. The Falls City production was better than the others (made by several brewers); it was only bad rather than terrible.

Cans still worth about what they were when they first came out, quarter to fifty cents tops, if you can find a newbie collector who doesn't have one.

So I contest your statement. :)
