Carried my Kimber .45 this morning just like I would to Walmart or some sketchy neighborhood. We have church security too but I do not trust mine and my wife's life to someone else.

I always carry at church. Lots of money trading hands (some of it being cash) and it is widely considered a gun free zone by the idiots who do the stuff posted above.

Trouble doesn't make an appointment, and that means it's no respecter of location either. I ALWAYS carry to church, as do several other church members. The pastor stopped me one Sunday morning, thanked me, and told me he felt safer knowing I and some others were prepared.

No less than five of us carry every time the doors are open for just this type of scenario. I would rather have my gun than have to go looking for a nightstand (like these guys did).

In Nebraska Church`s are off limits to carry unless you are hired by the Church for protection. There are 3 of us in my Church that have permits abd one of them is a retired cop. We have a small Church so no one is worried but I do carry if I am going somewhere right from Church. I am the Chairman of the Board so I elected myself as Church protector.

If I recall correctly, church carry wasn't allowed when I got my FL concealed weapon permit. It was back in 1995, so my memory could be faulty or the law could've changed since then.

I'm glad I'm able to carry at church in TN. So I express my appreciation by doing it.

Church carry is not legal in Georgia either. Stupid laws abound
