Forum Phone Software?

I just upgrade to a DROID 3, my old phone was so lousy on the net I gave up trying to use it.

I’m still in a learning curve on the DROID but it looks like it will be a lot better.

What’s the advantage to using software like Tapatalk?

For me (iPhone) it's optimized for the screen size where the web version you have to zoom in and out a lot.

Tapatalk gives you the avatar and brief snippet of who posted last on each topic. As well as gives you a "participated" tab so you can easily keep track of threads you like.

It can be a little buggy. It shows about 18 of the "new posts" and you have to scroll down to "load more". Sometime it loads the same 18 you just saw. But if you do it again usually works right.

I use it a lot I think it's worth a download. I have it for my iPhone and iPad both but with the bigger screen never use it on ipad

I have toyed with the idea of Tapatalk.

I am stingy. I have nothing but free apps, or the Free Paid App of the day from Amazon.

Taptatalk is one that I have considered paying for though.

If you get on forums quite a bit on your phone it is worth it. Little buggy indeed sometimes as stated but I use mine enough that it was worth it.

IMO the tapatalk app is worth it. Optimization is nice and the alert to threads I subscribe to seems more consistent than the email replies through the forum.

Yes, just delete the signature.

There is an option under settings that will allow you to turn it off, or change it. Your forum signature will still post regardless of your tapatalk signature. You cannot see forum signatures while using Tapatalk however

tapatalk organizes the forum into a viewer friendly structure, that's readable and organized.

if you just use the browser on your phone, everything is really tiny, and you have to scroll to read things, the text is so small you have to zoom in and it's just very difficult to read and use. Tapatalk solves all those problems.

For $2.99 one time fee, Tapatalk is a very very nice addition.
