I test drove one and I wasn't impressed with it, especially the huge wheel wells that stick out like a sore eye, and that is a HUGE blind spot right there and can you imagine trying to fit into tight places with those humps stickin' out?

I told the dealer that I was happy with the H2 but was not happy with the H3 and wouldn't even dare spend a dime on it after that test drive.

And are you aware that the chinese folks now own the Hummer brand? GM dumped Hummer a while back.

I can say this, I've had an H3 for several years and love it. Mine is an 06 and one of the few straight shifts I have seen. Sorry to hear about all of these other folks having problems. The warden and I are thinking of getting another car for her and as soon as that happens. out comes the camo paint. Oh yea the trk had around 1200 miles on it when we bought it, it's about a 130,000 now

did you mean FJ Cruiser? I can't seem to find the 4Runner in the Trail Team edition. This FJ looks SICK though!

2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser Trail Teams Special Edition

No. I had a 2010 FJ Cruiser Trail Teams and it was nice, but the 4Runner Trail Teams is even better. Four full size doors that swing the correct direction when you open them, and more cargo capacity.

4Runner - 2011 Performance & Specifications

They're calling it the "Trail" on Toyota's site. Last year's model had the Trail Teams logo on it like the FJ did; not sure if they have abandoned that or what.

I have never owned one, but for 14 days I had a 2010 H3 as a rental. my honest opinion it was very cheaply made. My company paid for the rental so I used those 2 weeks as an evaluation period. The Panels felt cheap, the fenders were very thin and not at all as durable as a H1, or even a H2. The H2 was a much nicer vehicle I am not sure why they bothered with the H3, Get her a Super Crew Ford Raptor but if you cant sell that to the wife

I would strongly consider what TGO David is telling you about the 4 runner is made much better and should last you longer

Late to the party, did you buy your wife the H3?

Found this topic while reasearching Tullahoma..

I plan on buying my son for his 16th Birthday and H3, so he can feel the luv of all the Hummer Haters in the world.

So what makes a OEM equipped Jeep,Toyota, Ford Raptor any better then a Hummer? Is it badging: trail rated, socom, trail teams, prerunner, what?

Probably personal choice...
