Sad story, we can see the power and safetly of an "Order of Protection" from sicko's like this. Wish he had of drawed on the police when they arrived, taxpayers wouldn't have to take care of this sorry trash for the next several decades.

Got a call from a neighbor about this yesterday while out canoeing. Did not give me a warm fuzzy. Like you've said to me before, Smyrna usually does a really good (odd, creepy) job of keeping this stuff out of the news. Was kind of surprised to hear the story break, actually.

Police said Brown had filed an assault report with Smyrna Police against Godspower on June 21. She was also directed to the Domestic Violence Program of Rutherford County where she obtained an Order of Protection against Godspower.

I wonder if anyone “directed†her to preapare to protect herself, because the cops only deal with the aftremath.

I hate that they call it an “Order of Protectionâ€, I hated it as a cop and I hate it now.
