On September 17, 1787, the delegates to the Constitutional Convention met for the last time to sign the document they had created. That document would be the United States Constitution :D

How appropriate that I'm going shooting tomorrow. I thought it was just to go have some fun, now I see it will be a celebration of freedom....or what's left of it.

Just a shame that the framers have spent the last 90 years or so spinning in their graves.

Founded by geniuses and run by idiots. If you leave the idiots in there long enough, they can really make a mess of things.

It is a tribute to the founders and an everlasting testament to the power and enduring legacy of the Constitution that it can survive the idiots, for idiots there will always be.

I fly my flag every day. I walked around the neighborhood today and counted 3 flags flying besides mine. In a neighborhood of 160 homes. Sad. Same thing last Sunday (9/11) and the 4th of July. Very sad.
