So... you're asking me to find a quote of a politician telling the truth? ;) Can I just shoot a monkey out of my butt instead? :)

Ahh. Better to make assumptions then right?

It's not about disrespecting anything American. Everyone does not sit around clinging to the past and being nostalgic while ignoring the present and future.

This thread started because Obama put his feet on a piece of wood. The same people whining about that would turn a blind eye to a suffering human being.

Maybe if we dismantle the desk and put a splinter of it in the backs of our seniors and veterans they would get the deference and respect that they deserve. Those are real issues! Until then, f*ck that desk!

I take great offense at that statement. You don't know me or have any idea how I feel about suffering human beings or anything else. You can take a s••t on your own furniture if you want to. I sure don't care and it seems that you don't either, but I have respect for other people's stuff. The desk doesn't belong to Obama, it belongs to the people, and his lack of respect for the history that is part of the White House sure carries over into his lack of respect for everything else that many Americans hold dear. Like our rights and our money.

As far as I am concerned Obama is by far the worst excuse for a President that has ever put his feet on the Resolute desk.

I saw a video of the event and he did a quick wave to what appeared to be someone in the crowd and his hand went down. It was up for a split second. It didn't look like he was waving to the photographer for the event. Just though I'd opine on the matter.

Back to the desk! ;)

Back to the desk!

Maybe an old Kenya relative was in the audience?
