October 15, 2011 - Middle TN Meet & Shoot @ CMHR

The weather is getting cooler now and the time seems right for another Meet and Shoot here in Middle Tennessee. We used to have one every month regardless of the weather, but that just kinda fizzled. So, who wants to have another one soon? I know we'll have the usual scheduling conflicts, but lets just do it.

Maybe its time for another Zombie Meet and Shoot!

Been putting some plans to paper today as a matter of fact. It's probably going to be mid October before I can personally attend anything because of my work schedule for the next few weeks, though. I was thinking like October 17th or 24th.

I'm definately up for it. Should be able to make any date.

Lets make it happen. I like the CHMR spot well enough. Although I would like the gathering down near the general shooting area instead of the behind the house range. There is more room. Rifle ranges and better parking. I'd say it should happen on a weekend. Sat or Sun works for me as well as the majority of M-F type working people.

I'd like to meet more of you. I promise I will play nice. Ask Daniel, I'm not that bad :) .

You guys better go ahead and throw a date out there. I got word today that we're about to embark on another big consolidation project at work that is going to eat up pretty much the second half of October, including weekends. If you pick a day that I can attend, I'll be there.

A Sunday would work for me but I could pull a Saturday if I needed to. I'd throw out a date but I'm flexible.

Why don't you throw out a date that you can attend and that be that. Your the big Chief here...make the call. I think it would be nice if the founder was there ;) .

I vote for an early-ish Oct meet vs. a latter. 8-9 , 15-16 over the others. 15-16th would be my pick. Far enough out to make plans for most. Yet not too far...I need some trigger time!

Doesn't seem to be much interest. I guess that is why we stopped having them.

If someone wants to set a date, and start a new thread announcing it, I'll be there.

I agree that it would be nice if I could tell you what weekends I won't be saddled with work or working from home in October. In fact, my family wishes I could tell them the same thing.

Like I said, throw out a date. If I can make it, I'll be there. If I can't, you can rest assured that I'm somewhere doing something a whole lot less fun than shooting at things.

It looks like the 15th at CHMR is shaping up to be our day and place.

Do we want to try to get the upper range and get the grill and do some hotdogs, or just stick to the lower range for more space?

I'm down for grillin' or I'd definitely through in on some BBQ. I've got a place called Papa's Butts right by the house and they are award winning good.

I'm definitely interested, and have two or three other shooting buddies that would want to attend.

I am up good to go on the 15th
