My husband is getting ready to ship his PT940 back to Taurus; he is having problems with failure to eject; he thought he might be doing some limp wristing but when I shot it, it did it to me a few times; his worst experience was when he was using the winchester ammo from wal-mart; it failed to eject every 3rd round or so during his carry class; he didn't have it as bad when he used american eagle. He also had a few misfires. This is his first handgun and he bought it used. He doesn't want to come to regret purchasing that gun.

I have the exact same problem. I thought it was just the primers i used or maybe I had pressed the primers in too far. I'm using winchester's what do you use? If I pull the trigger again if it doesn't fire the first time then usually fires.

Edit: I have a PT-140 pro and I love mine as well. 0 problems other than it not firing reloads.

I generally use the winchester white box or Remington bulk boxes of HPs. And no problems with any of it. I have also used several other kinds of factory ammo and not one problem.

I could just use softer primers but it seems to be i would be better served fixin the gun.
