I know where there is an Enfield in need of rescue. I may have to go buy it.

Go Forth & Do Good - - - That Enfield deserves nothing less. :)

Nice job to you and the smith.

I have no problem cutting up classics and changing the "purpose". I just hate seeing it done all wrong. To many great actions get wasted. Got two or three in the shop now (you'll see them soon I beleive). Its getting harder and harder to even take them in for repairs and such. I don't like "limping" it along and seems the more bubba'd up the gun the less the money they have to fix it up hence the limping it along. I don't tend to enjoy polishing turds. Start with a turd, end with a turd.

Good eye for finding a diamond in the rough.
