Do you remember reading about one of the heroes in one of the towers when 911 happened, of this guy being personally responsible for saving something like 2500 people? He was last seen heading back upstairs to check for stragglers...well I recently ran across another story about him. Remember the book and movie "We Were Soldiers Once...and Young? This guy was a 1st LT in Hal Moore's outfit in the Ia Drang Valley...His picture was on the cover of the book...This is a very good story:

There's a show on the History Channel about Rick right now.

Edited to add: After watching the documentary, you can't but feel an immense gratitude for him. He was the head of security for Morgan Stanley in the towers. He predicted the first WTC attack, he predicted 9/11. He trained the Morgan Stanley employees incessantly in emergencies and evacuations (much to their chagrin no doubt). As a result, all but 6 Morgan Stanley employees (~2700 people) survived. A true hero.
